It was SAN FRAN's very last day in Dubai.
How did the time go by so quickly?
We decided to make
the most of it and enjoyed some balcony time with Ness.....
....and with Shallie!
(Girlfriend has TWO sets of teeth in there --
her baby teeth will NOT fall out!)
Raffe got some Shallie time as well!
(Or should I say that Shallie got some Raffe time?)
They were just too cute together!
We walked The Walk and just happened to
end up at IHop for
our last breakfast together in Dubai.
(The "Kandora Kid" thought this was a great idea!)
We waddled (I mean walked!)
down to the beach and,
in spite of the haze and the wind,
we enjoyed playing in the warm waves of the Arabian Sea.
It was SAN FRAN's very last dip.
The camels were out! The camels were out!
Nothing beats seeing camels walking on the beach!
So SAN FRAN got in some last minute
camel time!
Of course, we got in some last minute
beach pictures!
(Brrrrrrr. It was actually chilly out of the water!)
We took some time to chill....
(Shallie loved that, of course!)
Then off we went, popsicles in hand,
without Shallie,
(much to Raffe's dismay)
to none other than the world renowned Dragon Mart!
Ness, our beekeeper cousin,
enjoyed sampling some honey concoctions!
Then off to Business Bay to see John's office
in the UBora Tower!
And finally,
to the Smiling BKK for our last dinner with
SAN FRAN.
(Say it ain't so!)
Ness spotted a meal that Franco (her husband)
would enjoy!
(We missed you, Franco!)

Back home on the ranch, it was SAN FRAN's last time to view the Dubai Marina from our balcony!
(I must say, it is quite the view!)
And, just like that, it was time to head to DXB.
SAN FRAN, thanks soooo much for visiting!
Your two weeks went by way too fast,
but we certainly made some
AWESOME MEMORIES!
Safe travels, Ness and Raffe, till we meet again!
AND THE FUN....
FLEW BACK TO SAN FRANCISCO!!
