JASON AND CHLOE IN DUBAI.....THEIR VERY LAST DAY!

This was Chloe and Jason's

LAST DAY IN DUBAI!

How oh how did their time here go by so quickly?

It was their last morning

IN OUR POOL!

It was our 

LAST LUNCH TOGETHER!

We picked a good place,

ZERO GRAVITY

that overlooks

SKY DIVE DUBAI!

We all sat outside,

and watched 

the parachuters come in and land,

(I'm booked for 2/14/14!)

and the airplanes come in and load up 

with more jumpers!

Here's what we saw -- I'm telling you, we were that close!

It was an awesome place (don't you agree?) to enjoy our 

LAST LUNCH TOGETHER!

The scenery was quite spectacular on this

bright blue sky kind of day!

Then off to the 

CRESCENT OF PALM JUMEIRAH

we drove to take a walk 

through the 

ATLANTIS HOTEL.

And, lo and behold, it was cleaning day at the 

ATLANTIS AQUARIUM!

Back home Jas and Chloe did things like

pack their suitcases (NOOOO, say it ain't so!) 

and play with

SHALLIE!

This was their very last 

SHALLIE SQUEEZE

until we see them again!

(Thank goodness SHALLIE was clueless!)

Off to 

WAFI MALL

to watch the

MOVIE UNDER THE STARS.

(From under our blankets -- brrrr!)

What was showing?

Confessions of a Shopaholic!

And, just like that,

 it was time to head to the airport and time to say

 "Good Bye."

I, for one, don't like to say 

"Good Bye,"

so I sadly said, 

"I'll see you both on Facebook."

It was wonderful spending time with this guy!

(And Chloe too!)

AHHHH, it was the perfect

Well, Jason and Chloe finally made it home!

Can you guess where Jason and Chloe went

this morning?

You are so right if you guessed

AT THE TOP

of the largest building in the world,

THE BURJ KHALIFA!

Chloe braved it and
went out on the observation deck!

(She has a fear of heights, but was determined to go!)

Here's proof!

It was the first time any of our guests
were scheduled for 
a morning tour.
Luckily it worked out perfectly, as it was 

a very clear morning!

They loved it!

They proceeded downstairs where they 

took photos in front of the huge

DUBAI AQUARIUM.

They were the first of our guests to tour the

UNDERWATER ZOO

and they loved it as well.  

John and I will have to check it out!

And then, of course, they had to do some shopping at the

DUBAI MALL

After all, it is the largest mall in the world!

Jason was attracted to the sparkles!

John and I met up with them at the

RAINFOREST CAFE,

Chloe's all time favorite restaurant

for lunch.

Afterwards, we strolled over to the

LARGEST CANDY STORE!

Chloe's eyes lit up when she spotted all that candy!

Yes, they are goofballs indeed!

We stopped by the

DUBAI WATERFALL,

and the 

DUBAI ICE SKATING RINK,

situated inside the mall.

And then a quick stop at

MILLIONS OF MILKSHAKES

to enjoy.....

you guessed it....

a milkshake!

You are NOT going to believe what happened to Chloe

on our way out of the mall.

HAHAHA!!

How hysterical is that?

(Sorry, Chloe, but it's just too good a story not to share!)

We dressed a little warmer,

relaxed some,

and then returned to the 

DUBAI MALL and SOUQ AL BAHAR.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner together,

before heading outside for some memorable photos

in front of the

BURJ KHALIFA and THE DUBAI FOUNTAIN!

We never tire of this amazing fountain!

AHHHHH, it was the perfect

JASON AND CHLOE IN DUBAI.....DAY EIGHT!

Well, here's an update on Jason and Chloe's trip back to the States.....

They made it from Dubai to Zurich.

They made it from Zurich to Newark.  But they are stuck in Newark.

Luckily, an old neighborhood friend picked them up and took them back to her apartment

 where they could shower and eat a home-cooked dinner!!

It was time for a 

ROAD TRIP!

Chloe got to see several camels at a distance

on our way to the

DIBBA-OMAN PORT

for a day on a 

MUSANDAM DHOW CRUISE! 

We drove through the border patrol

(easily this time)

and arrived at Sheesa Beach right on time!

We were the first ones on the Dhow,

so we got our favorite loungers for the day!

And off we sailed through the

INDIAN OCEAN

along the

HAJAR MOUNTAINS.

Simply beautiful!

Chloe was excited for her first try at

SNORKELING!

We were afraid that the water would be cold,

however, once they jumped in....

...they assured us it was the perfect temperature!

And off they went -- Chloe was born to snorkel!

 Jason "caught" a sand dollar that day!

John caught a beautiful hamour.

Will you look at this?

I caught the biggest fish of the day.

(Okay, I lied. But I did hold the biggest fish caught that day!)

Chloe, ever the competitive one,

was not enjoying the fact that she was having no luck.

She ended up catching a 

HUGE BARRACUDA

and was a very happy camper!

All in all, it was a very good day!

Although we didn't catch 

a ton of fish, 

several beautiful ones were reeled in!

And just like that, it was time to start our

journey back to shore.

We were definitely not alone!

Late afternoon is a beautiful time 

to be out on the water!

Back on shore a fish auction was taking place.

And soon we began our journey back to Dubai.

We enjoyed yet another gorgeous sunset,

and got to see the 

FRIDAY MARKET

in full swing.

(Even though it was Saturday!)
