WHAT'S COOKING?

JOHN'S NIGHT:

an eggplant lasagna cake.

OMG,

it was almost too pretty to eat!

And it tasted as good as it looked, to boot!

JANI'S NIGHT:

Some crispy pork chop recipe I found on Facebook with

roasted asparagus.

Let's just say there was no crisp in my crispy.  Bummer.

But the roasted asparagus was delicious!

I've decided to stick with what I do best......

simple.plain.simple.cooking.

....and let Dieds perform his magic in the kitchen!

And that is

WOOHOO, IT WAS THURSDAY AGAIN!

YES,

it was Thursday again!

And yes, 

we all gathered, once again, for the

MARINA THURSDAY COCKTAILS!

We all ventured outside to watch a 

beautiful sunset

over the

ARABIAN SEA!

And then 36 of us gathered for a delicious Mexican dinner....

OUTSIDE AGAIN!!

It was still a tad hot,

(who am I kidding, it was still really hot!)

but they kept adding chillers,

which helped a lot!

WOOHOO, IT WAS THURSDAY AGAIN!

I MARRIED A CHEF!

Yup, I married a "CHEF" all right!

Who else would go to the trouble of making

BEEF WELLINGTON

for dinner

when we are surrounded by awesome restaurants

in the Dubai Marina
that are within walking distance?

And, yes, it was as good as it looks!

I married a "CHEF"..... and I'm sure glad I did!
