The sun was warm, the sky was blue and it was a magical day for a wedding....in Dubai at least!
We arrived at the Le Meridien Barasti a bit early, so we could walk around and figure out which were the best seats to view the BIG EVENT!!
The beach was an option with a big screen set up for perfect viewing of all the festivities!
We continued to walk around and soak up the magnificent sights the hotel had to offer. After all, we were early so we had time for this....
Because the temp was already beginning to rise and was promising to reach into the 100's, we opted for covered patio seating that offered a cool breeze, a big screen television, a fabulous view and a bar staff that was but a couple steps away!
We were ready! Oh so ready!!
It wasn't long before the place filled with people excited about the upcoming nuptials of the century!!
And tiaras....
And a British menu of (what else?) but really BIG Fish 'N Chips....
Which made for one mighty happy camper!!
And a wedding just wouldn't be a wedding without a cake, of course!
And, and, and.....then, OMG, Kate and William came! And the Queen Mum herself!! What were they doing there?
All in all, it was a "jolly good time"! Everyone went "crackers" over William and Kate's wedding.
In his own way, even Teddy joined in the celebration!
Yes, it was "BRILLIANT", absolutely "BRILLIANT"! And that, folks, is how Dubai Did "I Do"!!
