Delayed posts due to limited internet access.....AHHHHH!!!
The alarm rang at 4AM,
we were out the door at 5AM (well, almost),
and on a flight to
Aswan, Egypt at 7AM!
We certainly didn't spend much time in Aswan,
just a car (with a furry dashboard) ride....
through the streets...
until we finally got a glimpse of
the H/S Radamis II,
our home for the next three days!
We walked the wobbly gangplank (OMG!)
across the water
onto boat number one,
through boat number two
(the boats were docked three abreast!),
and finally reached
the third boat, which was ours!
We quickly learned that we wouldn't begin

until tomorrow morning at 9AM sharp!

It didn't take long to find our favorite spot on board...
the top floor called THE SUN DECK.
Ahhh, the views of Aswan
on the Nile
were spectacular!
We enjoyed our first meal (lunch)
in the Orangerie Restaurant,
where I experienced my first Egyptian date!
Afterwards, we jumped into our tour bus
(with the furry dashboard)
and met our awesome (and passionate) tour guide, Ishmaal.
We drove through the streets of Aswan,
once again,
until we arrived at our first stop:

Our second stop was The High Dam.
And our third stop of the day was
the Philae Temple.
Whew! Long day of seeing lots of Aswan sights!
Can't wait to set sail in the morning
at 9AM sharp!
